Project information

As a field worker, you can view information about the project you're working with on a Windows Mobile device. This information is useful for you and for you to communicate with your project administrator when you encounter problems using the project.

The information is categorized into basic and advanced types. For example, you can find the size of the mobile map data from the basic information page. If you fail to synchronize data, from the advanced information area you can also find the operation log with a detailed synchronization failure message.

Steps:
  1. Open a mobile project. For details, see Opening/Closing/Deleting projects.
  2. On the Task List page, tap Menu > About the Project menu item.

Basic information about the current project appears. The information includes project title, project location, projection information, and data sizes of operational map data and any StreetMap for Windows Mobile data.

  3. For advanced information, such as the mobile/tiled map service uniform resource locator (URL), tasks and any extension, data synchronization information and so on, tap Advanced Info.
    TipTip:

A red dot next to a custom task or extension indicates that it does not work properly or is missing from your device. Check with your project administrator in this case.

  4. To return to the Task List page, tap Back > Tasks.
