Enabling the Esri Roads and Highways extension in ArcMap

Turning on the Esri Roads and Highways extension enables you to access the advanced linear referencing system (ALRS) and associated tools and capabilities in the desktop environment.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. Click Customize > Extensions.
3. Check the Roads And Highways check box.

   If Roads and Highways is not listed, the software has not been installed, please refer to the installation guide.

4. Click Close.
