Sorting map sheets by name

Legacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

Map sheets in the map series can be sorted by name or page number. Sorting by name displays the map sheets in alphabetical order.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > MPS Atlas.
3. Click the MPS Atlas window button on the MPS Atlas toolbar.

   The MPS Atlas window appears.

4. Right-click the map series and click Sort Map Sheets By Name.

The map sheets are sorted alphabetically by name on the MPS Atlas window.
