Changing the name of a piece of dynamic text

Legacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

You can also change the dynamic text name on the Size and Position tab.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. Open a map document with dynamic text or add dynamic text to the map.
3. Double-click the text to edit on the map sheet.

   The Dynamic Text Properties dialog box appears.

4. Click the Size and Position tab.

   The Size and Position tab appears.

5. Type a name in the Element Name text box.
6. Click OK.
