Renaming rule groups

Legacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

You can rename a rule group using the Element Rule Manager on the Properties dialog box.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > MPS Atlas.
3. Click the Show Element Rule Manager button on the MPS Atlas toolbar.

   The Element Placement Rule Manager dialog box appears.

4. Click to expand the Element Rule Manager tree view.
5. Click a rule group to edit.
6. Click Properties.

   The Group Rule Properties dialog box appears.
7. Type a new name in the Description text box.
8. Click OK.
