Changing the map sheet name fields

Legacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

You change the map series field name in the Map Series Properties dialog box.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > MPS Atlas.
3. Click the MPS Atlas window button on the MPS Atlas toolbar.

   The MPS Atlas window appears.

4. Right-click the map series on the MPS Atlas window and click Map Series Properties.

   The Map Series Properties dialog box appears.

5. Click the Name Fields tab.
6. Click a cell in the Data Source column.

   The cell becomes selected.

7. Click Change Name Field.

   The Select Name Field dialog box appears.

8. Click the Select Field drop-down arrow and choose the map sheet field name you want to use.
9. Click OK.

   The Name Fields tab appears.

10. Click OK.

    The map sheet names are changed to reflect the name field you chose.
