The input for these tools must be a Business Analyst Dataset (BDS) layer: Find Similar, Batch Reports, Quick Reports, Benchmark Report, Threshold Data Driven Ring, Threshold Static Ring, and Grids.

Solution

Business Analyst Datasets (BDS) can be generated using the Analysis Layer Setup tool from the Business Analyst wizards drop-down menu in ArcMap.
