SQLite

Return type

ST_Polygon

Example

A table, surf_test, is created, and a surface geometry is inserted into it.

Oracle

CREATE TABLE surf_test (
 id integer,
 geometry sde.st_geometry
);

INSERT INTO SURF_TEST VALUES (
 1110,
 sde.st_surface ('polygon ((110 120, 110 140, 120 130, 110 120))', 4326)
);

SQLite

CREATE TABLE surf_test (
 id integer
);

SELECT AddGeometryColumn(
 NULL,
 'surf_test',
 'geometry',
 4326,
 'polygon',
 'xy',
 'null'
);

INSERT INTO SURF_TEST VALUES (
 1110,
 st_surface ('polygon ((110 120, 110 140, 120 130, 110 120))', 4326)
