Data filters

Provides a number of methods (attribute, location, and modifiers) that limit what data is returned from a data source for display within a graphic table.

Data items

The list of specific values and/or attributes that can be displayed within a graphic table after data filters have been applied to a data source.

Data source

A layer or table that is added to the ArcMap table of contents that can be used as input for a graphic table element.

Elements

A graphic element—point, line, fill, text, table (text) field, symbol field, or grouped page layout element (custom)—that can be added to a specific cell within a graphic table.

Interactive table

A table with a fixed number of rows and/or columns set during design. Table elements are static, unless linked to data sources after table design.

Item to Column table

A table that has its number of columns automatically set based on data sources and filters. Table elements are dynamic and linked to data sources before table design.

Item to Row table

A table that has its number of rows automatically set based on data sources and filters. Table elements are dynamic and linked to data sources before table design.

Table fields

A unique field mapping from a data source (layer or table) attribute field or other property that allows those values to be placed in a specific cell within a graphic table.
