Appending parcels from fabric XML format

This topic applies to ArcGIS for Desktop Standard and ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced only.

Parcels can be appended and joined to the fabric layer from fabric XML files.

Append a fabric XML file.

You can also save selected parcels to fabric XML files by clicking the Parcel Editor menu and clicking Save As XML. Saving parcels to XML files allows exporting subsets of parcels from and importing subsets of parcels to the parcel fabric.

Selected parcels are saved to a cadastral XML file.

The structure of a parcel fabric XML file essentially reflects the structure of the parcel fabric data model.

Fabric XML files are in the same file format as the fabric job XML file.
