Description

Project can be used only when the input dataset has a coordinate system defined.

Solution

If the input dataset has an undefined (Unknown) coordinate system, either

• Use the Define Projection tool to modify the input dataset before using the Project tool
• Use the Input Coordinate System parameter on the Project tool to specify the coordinate system of the input dataset.
