Deriving the existing features' heights using an attribute

You can convert 2D features to 3D features by deriving the height value from an attribute of the feature. The Features To 3D By Attribute tool allows you to obtain 3D properties from an attribute. This tool requires an ArcGIS 3D Analyst extension license and can be found in the 3D Features toolset in the 3D Analyst toolbox.

The Feature To 3D By Attribute tool converts 2D features into 3D features using numeric attribute values. It supports point, line, and polygon.
