Upgrading a mosaic dataset

Mosaic datasets are versioned. The following table describes how they are supported:

User	10.0 mosaic dataset	10.1 mosaic dataset
10.0	Full (read/modify/create)	Not supported
10.1	Read-only	Full (read/modify/create)

To get the full functionality of the dataset at the current release, you can upgrade a mosaic dataset using the Upgrade Dataset tool.

Steps:

1. Open the Upgrade Dataset tool.
2. Enter the mosaic dataset to be upgraded to the current release.
3. Click OK.
