Exporting workflow and map document associations for all users

As new task assistant workflows are created based on map documents, you can associate the workflows with the maps and export these relationships. Once the associations are exported, they can be imported by others in your organization so they have the most recent associations between workflows and map documents.

With the Configuration Manager, you can export associations that have been created for all users on a specific machine. This allows you to distribute the associations between workflows and map documents that apply to all Task Assistant Manager users on a particular machine.

Steps:
  1. Click Start > All Programs > Task Assistant Manager > Configuration Manager.

The (Administrator) Configuration Manager dialog box appears.

    NoteNote:

If you do not have administrator privileges on the machine, the dialog box title is Configuration Manager, and you cannot change to Task Assistant designer mode.

  2. Click the MXD/Workflow Associations tab.
