Viewing workflow properties

Each workflow has basic properties that can be viewed using the Workflow Properties tool. You can see general properties for the workflow such as the full path to the workflow file, the title, and when it was last saved. If the designer has defined a description of the workflow on the Designer tab on the Task Assistant window, that information also appears. The Author field contains the user name of the person who last saved the workflow.

Other properties that can be viewed are specific to the workflow execution. They indicate whether history logging has been enabled or disabled, whether or not steps are locked after they are executed, and whether workflow steps can only be executed in the order given in the workflow.

This information can be useful if steps are not executing in a way you expect in a workflow or you want to see the last time the workflow was modified.

Steps:
  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, click the Task Assistant button Task Assistant on the Task Manager toolbar to display the Task Assistant window.
  3. Open a task assistant workflow.
  4. Click the Workflow Properties button Workflow Propertieson the Task Manager toolbar.

The Workflow Properties dialog box appears.
