Clearing the history log

When parameters on a task assistant workflow change as updates are made to the steps, you may find that clearing the history log will provide you an accurate event log of step execution. This is because the log will only record the step executions that occur once the changes are made.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. If necessary, click the Task Assistant button on the Task Manager toolbar to display the Task Assistant window.
3. Open a task assistant workflow.
4. Click the History tab on the Task Assistant window.
5. Right-click the History tab and click Clear History.

   The history log information is removed from the History tab.
