Style Manager

The Style Manager is used to add, modify, and delete node styles. A node style is a visual indicator that can be assigned to a node to impart meaning to the Task Assistant user.

Each node style has the following settings:

You can leverage styles to convey additional information about steps. For example, you may want to highlight mandatory or informational steps by using node styles. As the designer, you can also add an unlimited number of custom styles. Custom images can be applied to the Default Image, Selected Image, and Open Image node style settings.

There are a number of default node styles:

Root, parent, or task node that indicates that the steps or series of substeps is an informational step and typically does not execute any functionality

Root, parent, or task node that indicates that the steps or series of substeps are required

NoteNote:

The Mandatory node style does NOT ensure that the step must be executed. It is only a visual cue to indicate that the step is required.

Warning icon

Warning

Root, parent, or task node that indicates that the steps or series of substeps impart some type of warning message to the user

NoteNote:

The Warning node style is used as a visual cue by Task Assistant Manager when a workflow is opened to indicate that configuration settings in the root, parent, or task nodes conflict with ArcGIS 10.1 configuration settings and need modification.

Root, parent, or task node that indicates that the steps or series of substeps is an informational step and typically does not execute any functionality
