Attribute Capacity Constraints

Setting capacity values is an important feature to constrain your territories. A capacity value is a threshold you can set to ensure that a territory doesn't exceed variable limits. For example, you can specify that all territories must stop growing in an area when a population of 150,00 is reached. The 150,000 figure is the capacity value. Capacity values can be assigned in the following ways:

You can override the minimum and maximum contraints using advanced options. Overriding constraints may be needed to reach a required number of territories or to meet statistical parameters.

The image below is an example of applied territory constraints. In addtion to the minimum, desired and maximum constraint values, you can set a weight to each attribute. Setting a weight will give preference from one attribute over another.
