Software Authorization

Esri Tracking Server 10.1 requires authorization of the software using a software authorization file (.ecp or .prvc file). When you purchase Tracking Server, you will use the authorization number received with your software to obtain an authorization file from Esri Customer Support. Upon receipt of the authorization file, you may authorize the software.

If you can't find your authorization number, you may be able to login to the Esri Customer Care Portal (customers.esri.com) with your Esri global account to obtain your authorization number.

Note:

Unlike previous versions, Esri Tracking Server 10.1 can now be authorized using the Esri online authorization process. Online authorization of Tracking Server can be accomplished using your authorization number or using an Esri Client Provisioning File (.prvc).
