Disk Space Requirements

A typical Tracking Server installation requires approximately 500 MB of NTFS disk space for program files and system files. This includes the files required for ArcGIS Engine for Windows.

Memory Requirements

A minimum of 4 GB of RAM is strongly recommended.

J2SE JRE Requirements

J2SE version 6.0 (aka 1.6) is bundled with Esri Tracking Server. It is used by the Tracking Gateway.

Microsoft .NET Framework Requirements

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 is required in order to install Tracking Server.

Note:

Tracking Server Web Connector requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.

Operating System Requirements for Tracking Server

The following operating systems are supported:

Windows 7
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows Vista
Windows XP
Windows Server 2003

Supported Web Servers

The following Web Servers are supported for deploying web applications provided with Tracking Server:

Apache 2.2.x / 2.0.5x
IIS 6.0 or above

Note:

If you are deploying Tracking Server Web Connector (which requires IIS), it is recommended to use IIS version 7.0 or above.
