Esri CityEngine system requirements
The latest system requirements, including hardware requirements and supported operating systems to install and use Esri CityEngine, are available on the ArcGIS Resources website.
Supported operating systems
The Esri CityEngine setup will only proceed if the processor is 64 bit or 64-bit capable. The operating systems listed below satisfy the minimum Mac OS requirement:
- Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) (64 bit), Intel only
- Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) (64 bit), Intel only
- Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) (64 bit), Intel only
Java for OS X
The setup installer may sometimes experience instability when the current Java SE version is earlier than 1.6.0_65. We recommend updating to at least 1.6.0_65 or later. To download and install this version, go to http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572.
Disk space
Esri CityEngine requires a minimum of 700 MB of disk space.
Administrator privileges
The setup requires that the user installing Esri CityEngine possess administrator privileges.
OpenGL
Esri CityEngine also requires OpenGL version 2.0 or later.
