Introduction to the Esri Business Analyst Desktop installation guide

This installation guide is your resource for information on prerequisites, installation, and authorization of your software and data.

Esri Business Analyst Desktop follows a standard maintenance cycle and will continue to be enhanced and expanded. For major releases, new complete software setups are provided through the My Esri web site, while updates are provided on the Esri Support Site.

Note:

As a customer of Esri Business Analyst Desktop, you also get a license to access Business Analyst Online (BAO). If you haven’t already done so, create an Esri Global Account User Name and provide it to your customer service representative, so your BAO subscription can be setup.

Installation in brief

The My Esri site provides links to the setups and installation guides. From the My Esri site, click the installation guide link for information on installation procedures or a setup link to start the associated setup program.

You can also exit the My Esri site and run the installation setup individually. To do so, navigate to the folder of the product you want to install and start the setup program. For instance, to install Business Analyst, navigate to the directory where the Esri Business Analyst Desktop setup file has been saved and double-click setup.exe.
