Vista/Windows 7 IIS requirements

The ArcGIS Web Applications for the Microsoft .NET Framework installation process on Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems requires specific components of Internet Information Services (IIS) to be installed. If these components are not installed, the Applications Manager feature will not be available. The IIS components detailed below satisfy the minimum requirements for these features.

NoteNote:

The IIS components listed below are only minimum requirements. If other IIS components are installed, they do not need to be removed.

Steps to add IIS components on Windows Vista and Windows 7

  1. Open Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off (found under Programs and Features).
  2. Expand the Internet Information Services feature.
  3. Verify that the IIS components listed below are turned on.

NoteNote:

A filled box means that only that part of the feature is turned on. A check mark indicates that the feature is completely installed.
