Steps to get ArcGIS Spatial Data Server for IIS up and running

There are four primary steps to get ArcGIS Spatial Data Server for IIS up and running.

1. Verify that your site meets the minimum system requirements.
2. Plan your ArcGIS Spatial Data Server site configuration.
3. Install ArcGIS Spatial Data Server for IIS.
4. After installation has been completed, additional configurations are necessary before using ArcGIS Spatial Data Server. See the "Getting started" topic in the ArcGIS Spatial Data Server for IIS help for the necessary configurations.
