Installing ArcGIS for Server for other languages

ArcGIS 10.2.2 for Server provides a fully localized installation experience. Language-specific resources are installed by language packs automatically installed by the ArcGIS for Server installation process. For example, if you install ArcGIS for Server Spanish, the Spanish language pack is automatically installed. Additional language packs must be installed separately.

NoteNote:

While the ArcGIS for Server setup automatically installs language packs, you must separately account for each uninstallation process. The ArcGIS for Server uninstallation process does not uninstall language packs.

ArcGIS for Server supports the following languages:

Uninstalling language packs

ArcGIS for Server language packs must be uninstalled separately. The ArcGIS for Server uninstallation process will not remove ArcGIS for Server language packs. For more information, see Uninstalling ArcGIS for Server.

Upgrading a localized 10.2.1, 10.2, or 10.1 setup

Running setup.exe for a localized 10.2.2 setup will upgrade both the main product installation and the language pack installation.

If you have a localized 10.2.1, 10.2, or 10.1 version of ArcGIS for Server installed and run the upgrade for the English 10.2.2 setup, only the ArcGIS for Server installation will be upgraded. The 10.2.1, 10.2, or 10.1 language pack will be retained in the original installation location and will not be functional. When the 10.2.2 language pack is available, run its setup to upgrade the 10.2.1, 10.2, or 10.1 language pack to 10.2.2. If ArcGIS 10.2.2 for Server exists, running setup.exe for a localized installation will display the maintenance dialog box for ArcGIS for Server. Cancel this setup to continue with just the language pack installation.
