Installing a localized ArcGIS for Server setup

ArcGIS for Server provides a fully localized installation experience. Language-specific resources are provided by language packs automatically installed by the ArcGIS for Server installation process. For example, if you install ArcGIS for Server Spanish on Linux, the Spanish language pack will automatically be installed. Additional language packs must be installed separately.

ArcGIS for Server supports the following languages:

NoteNote:

To remove an installed language pack, launch the specific language pack uninstaller script. The language pack uninstaller script sample below is based on the ArcGIS for Server default installation location:

${HOME}/arcgis/server/Uninstall_ArcGISServerLanguagePack-<version>-<lang>.sh

Upgrading a localized 10.2.1, 10.2, or 10.1 setup

Running the setup script for a localized 10.2.2 setup will upgrade both the main product installation and the language pack installation.

If you have a localized 10.2.1, 10.2, or 10.1 version of ArcGIS for Server installed and run the upgrade for the English 10.2.2 setup, the ArcGIS for Server installation will be upgraded while the installed earlier version language pack will be removed. When the localized ArcGIS 10.2.2 for Server package is available, you only need to install the language pack by launching its script (Language-Pack-Setup_<lang>.sh).
