An overview of the installation process

The installation procedure includes the following steps:

1. Before you install the software, verify the following:
   • You have administrator rights or elevated privileges.
   • You have the current ArcGIS 10.2.1 for Desktop software and service packs installed.
2. Install ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop by doing one of the following:
   • Saving and starting the software installation from the Esri Customer Care web site using the Esri Download Manager
   • Saving the installation package locally and starting the setup.exe file
