Feature Dependencies

Certain features in Business Analyst Server require Windows components or other Esri software to be installed. If those requirements are not met, the feature will not be available for installation. Once the necessary prerequisites are installed, dependent features will become visible.

If the features are not available due to the missing dependencies, the installation process will complete successfully without installing the unavailable features.

Detailed below are features that require Windows components or other Esri software to be installed, as well the dependencies needed.

Business Analyst GIS Server

• .NET Framework 4.0
• The Business Analyst Server Object Manager feature requires ArcGIS Server Object Manager.
• ArcGIS for Server patch for compressed file geodatabases

Business Analyst Server desktop components

• Business Analyst Desktop components require ArcGIS for Desktop.
