Enter your registration code

ArcPad requires an ArcPad registration code for continuous use. Without a registration code, ArcPad will operate in evaluation mode. In evaluation mode, ArcPad functionality remains active but will automatically time out after 20 minutes of use. You can start ArcPad again and evaluate it for an additional 20 minutes before ArcPad times out again. There is no limit to the number of times you can evaluate ArcPad.

ArcPad registration code

Entering a valid ArcPad registration code disables the time-out. An ArcPad registration code is supplied when you purchase ArcPad. This registration code is valid for use on one Windows computer install, and one Windows Mobile device install.

Until you enter a registration code, each time you start ArcPad, you'll be prompted to enter the code.

NoteNote:

ArcPad 5.x, 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x registration codes are not valid for ArcPad 10.x.

StreetMap for ArcPad registration codes

To use StreetMap for ArcPad North America and Europe datasets that ship with ArcPad, you need to request registration codes.

Domestic users can request registration codes from www.esri.com/arcpadstreetmapcode. International users should contact their local Esri distributor to request registration codes. There is no charge for the StreetMap for ArcPad registration codes.

You'll be prompted to enter the StreetMap for ArcPad registration code the first time you open a *.navmap file. You only need to enter the code once.

Register ArcPad for multiple users

With ArcPad 10.2.1 or earlier, if you install ArcPad on a computer that will be used by many different users, each user will need to enter the registration code.

With ArcPad 10.2.2 or later, if you install ArcPad on a computer that will be used by many different users, an administrator should first launch ArcPad with administrator privileges and enter the registration code. Subsequent users that log on to the machine, will not be prompted for the registration code.
