Geocoding

In the previous exercise you learned how to add StreetMap data to your map and how you can use it as an ArcPad data layer. Now you will take a closer look at how you can take advantage of features unique to the StreetMap extension. You can use StreetMap geocoding capabilities to locate street addresses and parts of interest. You can either find a location using a geocoding dialog box or determine a location by directly interacting with a map using your pen.

1. Tap the arrow below the Find Location button.
2. Tap Find Address or Location. The geocoding dialog box appears.
