Delete Rasters

As of 10.5, you must license your ArcGIS Server as an ArcGIS Image Server in order to use this resource.

This operation is supported at 10.1 and later.

The Delete Rasters operation is performed on an image service resource.

The Delete Rasters operation deletes one or more rasters in an image service (POST only).

You can provide arguments to the delete rasters operation as query parameters defined in the following parameters table:

Description: The response format. The default response format is html.

rasterIds

Description: The object IDs of raster catalog items to be deleted.

Syntax: rasterIds=<rasterId1>, <rasterId2>

Example: rasterIds=37, 462

Example usage

Delete two rasters from an image service by specifying the following for rasterIds: 37,462.
