Tutorial lessons
Schematics in ArcMap tutorial
The Schematics in ArcMap tutorial exercises are a good starting point for learning about the ArcGIS Schematics extension in the ArcMap environment. They provide data, steps, and conceptual information on how to accomplish specific goals, such as generating, updating, editing, and laying out schematic diagrams.
Schematics Configuration tutorial
There are two levels of exercises in this tutorial:
- The Schematics Basic Configuration tutorial is dedicated to novice users. It teaches how to create a schematic dataset and provides a set of quick-start guides for generating diagrams from different types of data (geometric network, network dataset, XML, object table).
- The Schematics Advanced Configuration tutorial is dedicated to advanced users. It focuses on four main concepts that help you add and enhance functionality in your Schematics configuration: the definition of default symbology in schematic diagrams, configuration of schematic rules, management of schematic algorithms, and configuration of schematic attributes.
