The ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight/WPF enables you to create highly interactive, visually rich and expressive applications for both Web and desktop clients. The ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight/WPF takes full advantage of the powerful mapping, geocoding, and geoprocessing capabilities of ArcGIS Services.
