Planners use maps to develop and communicate concepts, plans, and designs. Maps support the military decision making process and inform the commander and staff of enemy intentions and friendly activities. Planners analyze information about the weather, enemy, and terrain in order to evaluate the effectiveness of plans or feasibility of a specific operation. We provide map templates and layer packages to support these activities.
