We at ESRI thank you all for your valuable contribution to ArcScripts over the years. This Web site has been most valuable for the user community to share a multitude of tools. However, this application has become old and limited. We have a brand new Code Galleries that are part of the new ArcGIS Resource Center.
On April 2nd, 2010, ArcScripts will close for all new scripts and edits to existing content; however, we will keep them read-only for at least several years. The direct URLs for ArcScripts and individual scripts will remain available, and the content throughout will be searchable from the new ArcGIS Resource Center.
If you have new scripts, or updates to existing scripts, we invite you to try the new Code Galleries available within each product's Resource Center. Here's how:
1. Jump to the front page of the ArcGIS Resource Center
2. Choose a specific Resource Center from the lists of products, functions, user communities, or solutions.
3. On the left side menu of each Resource Center is a link to its "Gallery", clicking that you will see the list of entries you can browse.
4. Toward the upper-right is a link to "Add an Entry". Clicking that, you can fill out a short form to give your entry a title and description, as well as a tool for uploading your .zip file and thumbnail image if you have one.
