May 6th update
Today, the newest version of ArcLogistics is available for download. This update includes bug fixes and adds the additional features listed below.
Support for multiple breaks
Dispatcher can account for multiple driver breaks. An example might be morning and afternoon 15 minute coffee breaks with a 1 hour lunch break.
Support for time-based breaks
Rather than taking a break within a specified time window, dispatcher can now set breaks so that driver must have a break after X hours of driving or Y hours of total work time which would include service and wait time in addition to drive time.
Support for Arrival/Departure delay
Dispatchers can add an additional time component to account for vehicle time parking and other overhead. This is in addition to service time and helps ensure that multiple orders at the same office or apartment building are serviced by the same route and during the same stop.
New barrier types including slowdown polygons
Point barriers can now be completely blocked off or given a delay time in minutes. Useful for modeling a 3 minute average delay at a toll booth.
Line barriers are now supported and can completely block off a street more easily than using multiple point barriers.
Polygon barriers are now supported and can completely block off an area. Additionally, streets within the polygon can be slowed down or sped up to more accurately represent vehicle speeds. This is useful to slow down network speeds in a metro area during rush hour traffic.
New U-turn options and curb approach integration
U-turn settings are more powerful to allow for greater control based on different fleets. Prohibit U-turns at intersections, dead ends while also ensuring large vehicles aren’t forced to make U-turns after servicing an order. There is no longer any need to set individual curb approach values for orders.
Support for virtual depots
Either the start or end location (but not both) can be left blank to allow for routes to start or end work at some undetermined location.
Exporting Routes to the ArcLogistics Navigator
If you'd like to export your ArcLogistics routes to the ArcLogistics Navigator, you must use the Tele Atlas 2010 Release 2 dataset on your hardware running the Navigator.

February 26th update
Today, the newest version of ArcLogistics is available for download. This is a minor update fixing an issue introduced with the February 19th update.
Improvements
-Fixed a new bug where Driver reports failed to show routes and stop numbers on the map.
-Turned off ‘Avoid Private Roads’ restriction by default. This will result in far fewer warnings that orders are located on streets not reachable by vehicle. This can be re-enabled in the Preferences > Routing panel if desired.

October 5th update
Today, the newest version of ArcLogistics is available for download.
Major features new to this release are listed below.
Improved address management for orders
If you manually edit or move an address, ArcLogistics will remember this and place the order in the desired location next time you import or enter it. You’ll no longer have to deal with problem addresses each time you visit them.
Fleet setup wizard
Each time you start a new project, you’ll have the option of using a quick wizard to set up the basic attributes of your fleet. This helps greatly reduce the time it takes to import your vehicles, drivers and orders.
Secure services
Esri hosted mapping, routing, and geocoding services have been updated to use the secure https proctocol.
Improved user interface
The interface has been optimized to not waste any space so you can display more information at one time and get your work done quicker.
Separate views for orders and routes
We’ve separated Orders and Routes into their own separate views. You’ll no longer have to continually click the List view dropdown arrow to switch between viewing your unassigned orders and routes. This also makes it easier to manually drag orders between views.
Nested Routes view
Routes are displayed with a gray hue. If you have orders assigned to that route, click the dropdown arrow in the left column of the route to view all work for that route.
Support for U-turns preferences
Browse to the Preferences page > Routing panel and choose your U-turn preferences.
Improved Matching for problem orders
If we can’t locate your order exactly, the software will do it’s best to zoom to street, zip code, or city/state extents so you can then manually locate the order using the pushpin tool.
Indefinite single vehicle routing license
When your 30 day trial ends, you’ll still have a fully functioning version of ArcLogistics, you’ll just only be able to work with 1 vehicle.
Streamlined import/export process
There is no longer any need to create and manage import or export profiles. Simply click the ‘Import’ button and choose the file you wish to import from.
Improved reports
We’ve created a new Driver report where you can choose what information is important in your reports. These have been optimized to use fewer printed pages and provide more usable driving directions for use in the field.
Tech support for trial users
Trial users will now be supported through our Tele Business department. Call 1-800-447-9778 ext. 1-5090 Monday –Friday, 6AM-5PM PST.
Enhanced Time view
The Time view has been enhanced for additional drag and drop functionality as well as depicting the time windows for your orders and arrows to ensure proper placement in the route sequence.
