You can add value to your 3D data and applications by sharing them throughout your organization and beyond. ArcGIS Server and 3D Analyst work together to provide 3D-specific services through the Internet.
 For example, you can

  • Globe ServerCreate globe services to share 3D objects, such as a virtual city of building features and street furniture, or high-resolution elevation surfaces, such as a 1-meter DEM created from lidar.
  • Use layer packages to encapsulate the symbolization, labeling and data for layers inside your 3D view, and then publish them to ArcGIS Online for others to share.
  • Share 3D analytical tools through geoprocessing services to extend your work to the open Web community.
  • Allow anyone to view and explore 3D content using ArcGIS Explorer.  Using ArcGIS Explorer you can also use your 3D content to author dynamic presentations.
  • Create videos and high-resolution screen captures to visually communicate GIS in easy-to-share formats.
